Located in northwestern peninsula Gramvusa, this charming lagoon is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Accessible by boat from Kissamos or by car on a rough ground road after reaching the parking, you have to walk for about 20 min. Located in southwestern prefecture of Chania, this beach is certainly one of the natural treasures of Crete, well hidden from mass tourism. Kedrodassos has coupled with rocky stretches of sand beach, surrounded by cedars. Accessible by car, it's equipped with a parking, then just by walk about 500m to join. The beach is not equipped. Also frequented by nudists.

The beach of Sfinari is located about 60 km west of Chania, south of the famous beach of Falassarna, can be reached by bus or by car. The village is built inside a valley. You reach Sfinari to look for tranquility, great food and direct contact with nature. There are pebbles and sand on the beach, it is not equipped but ideal for windsurfing, family vacations and snorkeling. At the end of the south beach there is the promontory of Korakas, full of carob trees. Going up the promontory in addition to admiring a fantastic panorama, you can get off the opposite side by finding the secluded beach of Platanakia.

25 km south west of Kissamos, at the end of the grooves Kambos, lies the small bay Platanakia. A fascinating and lonely place surrounded by nature, made of rocks and sand, almost always deserted. Accessible by car (4x4), driving carefully, following a dirt road for 5 km, which starts Kambos, then you have to walk about 15 minutes. The beach is not equipped. Also frequented by nudists.

Krios is located about 9 km west of the city of Paleochora and is the ideal place to relax. The beach is characterized by small stones and fresh crystal clear water, surrounded by a natural landscape and no tourist facilities. Accessible by car, Krios has a tavern bar, parking, toilets and parasols. About 15 minutes of unpaved road starting from the main beach, you can reach the bay "Cape Krios" where once existed the ancient city of Viena.

The Grammeno peninsula is located 5 km from the center of Paleochora. It is composed of two wonderful beaches, on its left side a beautiful beach with fine and coarse pebbles and crystal clear sea, while on the other side there is a beautiful sandy bay. The Grammeno peninsula hosts an important colony of protected junipers. Reachable by car or bus, Grammeno is equipped with umbrellas, sun beds, bars and taverns.

4 km east of Paleochora, these two beaches are among the finest in the south of Crete. Bathed by the crystalline waters of the Libyan Sea and consists of sand and small pebbles. Is located 5 km west of Loutro and forms at the end of the grooves Aradaina. 4 km west of Chora Sfakia is Glyka Nera, one of the most beautiful beaches of southern Crete.
